Become the voice of our brand new myUEG Podcast

It’s never been easier to become a podcast host! We provide you with the hosting platform, recording tools, technical equipment, high profile experts as your interview partners and a great audience. UEG takes care of all the necessary promotion and marketing activities, as well as the format, intro and outro. 

This is a unique opportunity for your career and will make for an impressive addition to your CV. Expand your network of experts and get to know the esteemed “who’s who” within GI on a personal level! 

Are you:  

  • An engaging, eloquent presenter who speaks English at a professional level and has clear pronunciation? 
  • Reliable, and able to work within short timelines and respond quickly to emails? 
  • Comfortable with the workload of 1 podcast per month (incl. inviting the expert, arranging a date for the recording, recording, and cutting)? 
  • A digestive health specialist? 
  • Able to do audio cutting? (Note: not required, but a plus!) 
  • Familiar with UEG and its activities? 

The term of the selected hosts is one year (January – December 2023) but has the potential for extension.

Candidates are required to submit: 

  • Curriculum vitae: max. 1 A4 page, incl.  
  • a short summary of your medical/scientific education 
  • previous relevant experience (e.g. invited talks, volunteer work, editorial work, and review work) 
  • previous relevant participation in UEG-related activities 
  • a summary of publication records 
  • Audio file: max. 3 min, speaking regarding 
  • why you want to become the voice of the UEG podcast 
  • what experiences/abilities will help you in hosting the UEG podcast  
  • if you have any audio recording and cutting/editing experience
