Volunteer Positions
UEG Journal is looking for young professionals across specialities in digestive health to assist Associate Editors in peer-reviewing, as well as contribute to other tasks, such as managing the journal's social media and coordinating visual abstracts. Trainee Editors get the opportunity to be introduced into the editing process, therefore previous experience on an editorial board of a medical journal is not required. Serve as a host for a two-week Clinical Visiting Fellowship by welcoming, teaching, and mentoring a young colleague from another country in your department. Hosts provide clinical insight, guidance, and support, contributing to cross-border exchange and professional development.
Please note that your centre must be located in Europe, in a country bordering the Mediterranean Sea, or from a country represented by a UEG National Member Society to be considered.

Junior IT Application Support Manager (m/f/d)
In this role, you will support, maintain and help facilitate development of internal software applications that are essential for the organisation’s daily operations, as well as supporting statistics evaluations.
Guideline Methodologist (m/f/d)
UEG is seeking to engage an experienced guideline methodologist (on a consultacy/freelance basis) who will advise the Quality of Care Committee on all methodology-related questions, and support the committee in developing, implementing and maintaining different elements of the new guideline support infrastructure.
