With this award we identify and nurture promising investigators at a junior level. Among all abstracts accepted for presentation at UEG Week, the highest scoring abstracts per country are chosen.

  • Among all abstracts accepted for presentation at UEG Week, the highest scoring abstracts per country are chosen.
  • The award can only be awarded once.
Benefits
  • National Scholar awardees will receive a guaranteed Travel grant to UEG Week 2024.
  • National Scholar awardees are highlighted in the online programme of UEG Week 2024.
How it works

While submitting an abstract, you can tick the Travel grant application box. By doing so, you are indicating your interest in becoming a National Scholar awardee.

Among all abstracts accepted for presentation at UEG Week who have ticked this box, the highest scoring abstracts per country are chosen. The presenting author has to also prove that they are a myUEG Young GI Associate via a confirmation system.
 
Notifications will be sent out in the final week of July 2024.
