Women in GI are an integral part of the myUEG Community, forming a network focused on facilitating peer-to-peer mentoring and role modelling. This network continues to strengthen with each passing year, as we firmly believe that personal meetings, inspiration, and mutual empowerment are crucial elements for the professional advancement of Women in GI.
Become a myUEG Associate or myUEG Young GI Associate for free and join the Women in GI Interest Group on My Connect, UEG’s networking feature available exclusively within our myUEG Community.

Representation of women in UEG
We see the highest engagement of women in UEG in our educational activities, both online and face-to-face. Women are strongly represented among recipients of awards and grants as well. The growth of female representation in faculty and at leadership positions is crucial to ensure the continued engagement of our talented Young GIs of all genders. To anchor gender equality and inclusiveness at all levels, we follow the UEG Equality & Diversity Plan.
