UEG Week and Postgraduate Teaching (PGT) are the premier venues for researchers from across the globe to present their latest findings. UEG Week combines world-class scientific research and invited lectures by leading minds in gastroenterology. At UEG Week and PGT, we prioritise multidisciplinary topics that cater to the entire GI community - the UEG Community. With our hybrid congress, we are glad to provide you with the best of both worlds via our in-person (Barcelona) and virtual formats.
Registration for UEG Week 2026 will open on March 26, 2026.

- Reducing the use of plastic in terms of catering and packaging
- Working with suppliers who are “green” oriented
- Offering easily accessible onsite refill water stations
- Choosing venues which are easily accessible by public transportation
- Choosing venues that consciously make major efforts in sustainability
- Serving an entirely vegetarian menu at our networking event, The UEG Night
- Reducing single-use giveaways and food waste
- Using recycled materials for pocket programmes, leaflets, giveaways and lanyards
- Arranging drop-offs for lanyards to recycle them
- Advising our industry to keep the environment in mind when preparing their booths or ordering their sponsored items
