The on-site registration is open Friday from 14:00-18:00, Saturday from 07:30-18:00, Sunday & Monday from 07:00-18:30 and Tuesday from 07:00-16:00.
If you have a virtual registration for PGT, you can extend your registration either online or on-site at the registration terminals. If you are registered in-person, you can only extend your registration at on-site at the registration terminals.

Congress programme delegates have access to all congress areas, except PGT sessions.
Postgraduate Teaching Programme delegates have access to congress areas and PGT programme on Saturday and Sunday (no access on Monday & Tuesday).
Faculty/Allied Healthcare Professionals/Undergraduate students have access to all congress areas and programme on all days.
Meals are not included in the registration fee. UEG offers some light refreshments (coffee, tea, healthy snack) at the coffee points from 9am to 4 pm on a first come first served basis. In the myUEG Community Area, there will also be a cake truck and water dispensers are available throughout the venue, and the tap water has drinking quality.
No, you do not have to be a member and there are no reduced registration fees for members of a member society. However, you can become a myUEG Associate and benefit from our offers as a member of the myUEG Community.
Please stop by at the Travel Grant/International Scholars counter in the registration area in order to prove your congress attendance (passport/ID required). For travel grants, our onsite staff will also check that you fulfil the grant criteria (age limit!). The grant/scholarship will then be paid after the congress.

Charging stations are located in the networking areas (Hall A and Hall B) and in the myUEG Community Area (Hall A).
The UEG Night to celebrate our 30th anniversary will take place on Monday. However, you need to buy a ticket online (first come, first served!).

Children (under 18 years of age) are not allowed at the conference due to compliance rules. Children aged 3-12 can be left in the UEG Week Kindergarten (upon registration/availability) for a one-time fee of € 20.
There is a Young GI Spot in the myUEG Community Area in Hall A.
Yes, you can bring an assistance dog (certificate required) to the conference. However, please note that any damages caused by the dog are the owner’s liability.
All rooms are wheelchair accessible. However, not all stages are. If you are a speaker and require help getting on stage, please address this in advance to the Speakers Centre staff. They and other personnel in the session room will assist you.

Are there any Covid-19 regulations in Austria at the moment?

Is there a possibility to get tested for Covid-19 on-site?
In Vienna it is mandatory to wear masks on public transportation. You will receive a mask with your congress material onsite. We recommend following the general Covid-19 rules (washing/disinfecting hands, wearing masks when in a crowd etc.) to help preventing the virus from spreading. If you feel sick, please stay at home.
Just outside the venue there is a testing container run by a pharmacy. You get all information there and on our webpage.

Do I receive CME credits for attending?

How do I get my certificate of attendance and my CME credits?
Yes, UEG Week 2022 is designated for a maximum of 24 hours (PGT: 9 European CME credits, UEG Week congress programme 15 European CME credits). In order to obtain European CME credits (ECMEC®s) and to receive the CME Certificate of EACCME, please complete the online evaluation form, which is available as of Tuesday, October 11, 2022 (17:30 CEST) on ueg.eu/myueg.
The certificate of attendance is available online (myUEG) after completing a short evaluation survey on the conference. You can also claim your CME credits there. In case you need a stamped and signed certificate of attendance, please go to the registration desk where staff can hand this out to you. This is not possible for claiming CME credits. PGT-Delegates can also download their certificate for participation in the 3-years curriculum online (myUEG).
Follow these steps to download your congress certificates:
- Login to your myUEG account and navigate to My Week > Certificates
- Kindly complete the evaluation form if requested.
- Your certificates are available for download.

Please proceed to the Speakers Centre immediately. Mention that your talk is soon, and staff will be able to assist you immediately.

We cannot make the choice for you, however, there are session pathways in the online programme and you can also save sessions as favourites and create your personal schedule.

Yes, all scientific sessions will be recorded and available on the UEG Week platform and in the UEG library www.ueg.eu/library.
A digital abstract book will be available on the congress platform, in the online programme and on our website ueg.eu from Sunday, October 9, 2022 13:30 CEST. Late breaking abstracts will be published in the December issue of the UEG Journal.
